What Covid Taught Me

If you don't already know, my son got Covid and it slowly spread to all of us, so our house was a mess to say the least the last few weeks, but I'm super thankful on this beautiful Sunday! God has definitely taught me a lot in the past few months.

Most importantly, the people you may think you can count on are not the ones to count on; it’s who God wants in your life at the moment that matters.

I have also learned to love myself the most! That may mean being selfish sometimes 😜

I have loved on myself and my family. I did things that were outside of my comfort zone, but that were needed.

1. I took help and lots of it! I HATE asking people for help so my loving friends who reached out were lifesavers in this time.

2. I turned my phone off and didn't feel guilty that I was responding later in the day instead of immediately.

3. Finally, I took naps and LOTS of them. My body needed to heal and there was nothing to gain from pushing myself to continue working in the day.

If you know me, then you know all of the above is hard to believe but it’s the honest truth and I am proud of it too!

I'm super blessed and thankful to all my friends and neighbors! All the food, baked goods, groceries, errands, and most importantly the prayers were SO appreciated.

We are also so blessed that were were safely quarantining before and after we got COVID. Krish picked it up from school, but since we were not out and about, it was nice knowing that we did not spread it to anyone else when contact tracing! Stay safe folks! Health is Essential 💕
